Privacy policy
Vivere is both a website operator and, once live, a processor acting on a customer's behalf. Those are different obligations, so they are separated below.
Last updated 8 August 2026
Pre-launch draft. Vivere is not yet open to customers. This document describes intended practice and has not been through legal review. It will be replaced before the product is generally available.
1. Who this covers
This policy covers Vivere ("Vivere", "we"). It applies to two distinct relationships, and which one you are in changes what applies to you:
- Visitors to this website. You are reading a pre-launch marketing site. We act as the controller for anything collected here.
- Customers of the Vivere service, and their visitors. When Vivere runs on a customer's landing page, the customer is the controller of their visitors' data and Vivere acts as a processor on their instructions.
2. What this website collects today
At the time of writing, this site runs no analytics, no advertising or tracking pixels, and no third-party embeds. It sets no cookies. See the cookie policy for the detail.
There is no account system and no form that submits data. If you email one of the addresses on our contact page, we hold that email and whatever you chose to put in it, for as long as needed to deal with what you wrote about.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server request logs, which include IP address, user agent and requested URL. These exist for security and reliability, not for profiling, and we do not combine them with anything else to identify you.
Waitlist
When a waitlist signup is available on this site, it will collect an email address and nothing else. We will use it to tell you when Vivere opens and to answer what you ask us. We will not sell it, rent it, or use it for unrelated marketing. You will be able to unsubscribe from every message we send.
3. What the service processes for customers
When Vivere runs on a customer's page, the pipeline reads behavioural analytics about how visitors interact with that page. This is aggregate behaviour, not identity: scroll depth, click patterns, drop-off points, and where in a funnel a session ended.
The first stage of the pipeline exists partly to reduce this further. It strips bot traffic, internal visits and duplicate sessions before anything downstream sees them. Cleaned behavioural summaries, along with the relevant page source, are then processed by language models to reason about what to change.
Vivere does not require, request, or have any use for customers' end-user names, email addresses, payment details, or account contents. Customers should not route special category data to it.
4. Why we are allowed to process it
- Legitimate interests for keeping this site running securely and for responding to email you send us.
- Consent for the waitlist and any future marketing email, withdrawable at any time.
- Contract for providing the service to a customer who has signed up for it.
- For customer visitor data, the customer determines the legal basis. Vivere acts on their documented instructions.
5. Who else touches the data
We use a small number of sub-processors, listed in full with their purpose and the data involved on the security page. That list is the authoritative one and is kept current as the architecture settles.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are used under US state privacy law.
6. International transfers
Our sub-processors operate internationally, so data may be processed outside the country you are in. Where that involves a transfer out of a region with transfer restrictions, we rely on the appropriate safeguards for that region, such as standard contractual clauses.
7. How long we keep things
- Email you send us: as long as needed to resolve the matter, then archived or deleted.
- Waitlist addresses: until you unsubscribe, or until the waitlist is retired.
- Server logs: a short rolling window set by our hosting provider.
- Customer behavioural data: retained for the period the customer configures, and deleted on their instruction or at the end of the agreement.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, port it elsewhere, and withdraw consent you previously gave. Under US state privacy laws you may also have the right to opt out of sale or sharing, which in our case is already the default because we do neither.
To exercise any of these, email privacy@vivere.example. We will not charge you for it or treat you differently for asking. If you are an end user of a Vivere customer's website, contact that company first, since they control the data and we act on their instructions.
If you think we have handled this badly, you can complain to your local data protection authority. We would rather you told us first.
9. Children
Vivere is a business product and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
When this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects you and we have a way to reach you, tell you directly.
11. Contact
Privacy questions and requests: privacy@vivere.example. Anything else: hello@vivere.example.
Go touch grass.
